Welcome to my blog! This is the first time I have had my own blog, so bear with me as I explore the blog world :)
Currently, I work for a Non-Profit association in Alexandria Virginia. I am a Membership & Leadership Specialist at this Association, and am currently interested in going back to school to get my masters in Non-Profit Management. With that in mind I am taking a Management class at Nova this semester and am writing this blog to better understand Leading. Leading is one of the main functions of management.
"Leading is inspiring and motivating workers to work hard to achieve organizational goals". The previous quote came from my textbook this semester, and has gotten me thinking about leading and how it affects my job and our goals as an organization.
I hope to delve into this deeper this semester, and look forward to having you follow me along the way :)
